In the Name of God Amen I Phebe Zouch late of Milcoat and now of Shottery in the Parish of Old Stratford in the County of Warwick Widow considering the uncertainty of human Life and the certainty of Death Do for the settling of my worldly Affairs make this my last Will and Testament ffirst I Desire all my just Debts and ffuneral Expences to be truly paid and satisfied Also I give to Ann Parkes the Daughter of my Kinsman William Parkes of Birmingham Bucklemaker the Sum of Two hundred Pounds Also I give to Thomas Parkes Son of Thomas Parkes of Clifford in the County of Gloucester the Sum of Twenty Pounds Also I give to Goodwin Thomas and Benjamin the Sons of my late Husband John Zouch the Sum of ffive Pounds a Piece which Legacies I direct shall be paid within six Months next after my decease Also I give to John the Son of Benjamin Huckel the Brother of my first Husband John Huckel my large Silver Tankard marked with the Letters J. H. Also I give to ten Poor Widows in Stratford who shall in the judgement of my Executrix be the most Proper Objects of Charity the sum of twenty Pounds to be distributed Amongst them at the discretion of my said Executrix soon After my decease Also I give my Messuage or Tenement with the Appurtenances in the High Street in Stratford upon Avon and all other my Messuages Tenements Land and Hereditaments And all my Goods and Effects Money and Securities for Money And all the Rest and Residue of my Real and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto Mrs Alice Zouch the Wife of the said Goodwin Zouch her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns For ever And I recommend it ti the said Alice Zouch and confide in her to dispose of the same to such of the Children of the said Goodwin Zouch And in such shares Manner and form as she shall think most proper and convenient for them And Lastly I do hereby revoke all former Wills by me made and do nominate constitute and appoint the said Goodwin Zouch and Alice his Wife Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the Testatrix Phebe Zouch have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal the twenty sixth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy six Phebe Zouch
